Religion of the Old Testament
Welcome to REL 1210 - Religion of the Old Testament!This course will explore the Priestly, Deuteronomic and Widsom literature of the Tanakh (Old Testament) along with its composition and the history & archaeology surrounding it. As an introdcution we will touch on Mesopotamian and other related mythologies. Included in our discussion will be a feminist analysis and questions in theodicy. All of these things combined should help develop a fuller understanding of the text.
